Final high school report cards for those candidates who finished their high school education abroad must be subjected to the procedure of recognition of foreign high school qualifications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe procedure of recognition of foreign high school<\/strong> qualifications which is part of general, gymnasium or art school study programs<\/strong> and procedure of recognition of foreign high qualifications which is part of vocational programs<\/strong> with the purpose of continuation of education is run by the Agency for Science and Higher Education.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe procedure of recognition of foreign higher education<\/strong> qualification on the completed undergraduate study program for the purposes of enrolling in a graduate study program, it is run by the university where the graduate study program is enrolled.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nAlong with the documentation required to apply for study programs (listed under the link All about applications – Documents<\/em>), for recognition it is necessary to send the Request for recognition. You may receive your request for recognition once you have registered on the website www.postani-student.hr<\/a>. The request will appear on your personal profile after February 19, 2024. Please do not fill in and send the request before sending all documents<\/strong> since the process of recognition of foreign secondary education qualification will not begin for those candidates who did not send all necessary documents. Instructions on sending mandatory documents<\/strong> for the purpose of applying for study programs and recognition of foreign secondary education qualification may be found under the option All About Applications ~ Candidates who have completed their high school education abroad ~ Documents<\/em>.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nIf you are applying for a graduate (master) study program at higher education institution that performs the procedure of recognition of foreign higher education qualifications by itself, you must deliver your request for recognition to the higher education institution that you are applying for, and not to the Central Applications Office.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe decision on professional recognition of a foreign high school education qualification is directly delivered to the higher education institution for the purpose of enrolment. Candidates are independently obligated to check the date of the deadline for submitting the decision, and in what form it should be delivered.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nBased on the Law on recognition and evaluation of foreign educational qualifications (National Gazette, 69\/2022), recognition of foreign secondary education qualification can be processed only as part of central admissions system<\/strong>, meaning only for candidates who registered on the website postani-student.hr.<\/a>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n
