The Agency for Science and Higher Education applies the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) in external evaluation procedures in higher education, in accordance with the Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Science (Official Gazette No. 151\/22).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \nThe Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) provide a common framework for the development of the Agency for Science and Higher Education\u2019s (ASHE) internal quality assurance system, which promotes the development of a quality culture in accordance with the needs and expectations of the Agency\u2019s management, employees, stakeholders, and society as a whole.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nASHE\u2019s internal quality assurance system supports the continuous improvement of ASHE\u2019s business processes and the provision of high-quality public services.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe Agency for Science and Higher Education Quality Policy provides overall direction for all activities and serves as a framework for the development of ASHE and its internal quality assurance system. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe objectives of the ASHE Quality Policy are to preserve and enhance the relevance of external quality assurance in line with societal developments, as well as to strengthen ASHE\u2019s social role as a promoter of quality in higher education and science.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \nThe ASHE Quality Policy is implemented through the active participation of employees and stakeholders in the implementation of processes and activities that form an integral part of the quality assurance system.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n
