Organising external QA audit of higher education institutions and scientific organisations to ascertain:\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>degree of development and efficiency of the quality assurance system which is under review, on the basis of Agency criteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>quality of academic activities in comparison with the ESG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>achieved results of higher education institutions and scientific organisations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n2. Publishing reports on external QA audit on the Agency web-site, including the analyses of their effect on quality of higher education and science in the Republic of Croatia\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n3. Continuous improvement of external quality assurance audit procedure\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n4. Developing cooperation with academic community \u2013 organising seminars, workshops and forums on quality assurance issues\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n5. Developing cooperation with similar agencies abroad, for the purpose of exchanging experience in external QA audit, transfer of knowledge and gaining new insight into models of external audit.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nIn order to popularise extremely multi-disciplinary field of quality assurance in higher education to Croatian academic community and other stakeholders, we created Glossary with basic terms and definitions in that field.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n<strong>Activities of the Department:<\/strong><br>1. External quality assurance audit of higher education institutions and scientific organisations in the Republic of Croatia<br>Assessing the degree of development and efficiency of the quality assurance systems, in line with ESG, and its contribution to continuous improvement of the quality culture of HEIs and scientific organisations.<br>(more)\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n2. Seminars for audit experts<br>Taking care of the quality of its work, QA Audit Department pays a special attention to training of audit experts. International cooperation<br>The Department is actively cooperating with foreign agencies which are members of ENQA, INQAAHE and CEE Network as well as members of EAIR, EUA and IUA.
