{"id":34202,"date":"2026-10-30T13:25:06","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T12:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/?p=34202"},"modified":"2026-10-30T13:25:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T12:25:07","slug":"ashe-director-participates-in-nceqe-international-conference-in-georgia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/azvo.hr\/en\/2026\/10\/30\/ashe-director-participates-in-nceqe-international-conference-in-georgia\/","title":{"rendered":"ASHE Director Participates in NCEQE International Conference in Georgia"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-lead-text mb-40 lg:mb-60 lg:-mt-[8rem]\">\n  <p class=\"font-serif text-xl sm:text-2xl leading-normal\">The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) organised a two-day international conference attended by numerous distinguished international experts, including Professor Danijela Horvatek Tomi\u0107, PhD, Director of the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE), and Marina Grubi\u0161i\u0107, PhD, Deputy Director.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe conference was held on 8 and 9 October 2026 in Tbilisi and was officially opened by Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe conference discussions focused on progress in higher education system reform, the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), quality assurance in medical education, student participation in quality assurance processes, and the potential applications of artificial intelligence in accreditation procedures.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nProfessor Danijela Horvatek Tomi\u0107, PhD, Director of ASHE, delivered a presentation on the accreditation of doctoral study programmes, with a particular focus on examples of good practice at ASHE.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-multimedia my-40 lg:my-60\">\n\n      <figure class=\"\" aria-label=\"Slika\">\n              <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/wp-azvo-files\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Ravnateljica_Gruzija-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"object-cover\"\/>\n                <\/figure>\n  \n  \n  \n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe conference brought together representatives of international and national organisations, as well as leading experts in the field of educational quality assurance.
