Krunoslav Pisk.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \n&nbsp;\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/maticni-odbori\/matini-odbori-2\/\">Scientific field committees<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nScientific field committees participate in the election to scientific, scientific-educational and artistic-educational titles, in accordance with the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education and regulations based on it. <br>There are 23 scientific field committees in all scientific areas and fields.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"vvivs\/maticna-povjerenstva\">Field committees<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nField committees express their opinions on the fulfilment of the minimal requirements of the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges in the procedures of election to educational titles.<br>There are seven field committees for all scientific areas.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/strateska-strucna-i-savjetodavna-tijela2\/vijee-veleuilita-i-visokih-kola\/\">Council of Polytechnics and Colleges<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe Council of Polytechnics and Colleges has 40 members, out of which 15 are polytechnics and 25 are colleges. Out of the total number of members, 14 are public higher education institutions and 26 are private higher education institutions. <br>Prof. dr. sc. Slavica \u0106osovi\u0107 Baji\u0107, Dean of the Polytechnic of Zagreb, is the President of the Council.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/?p=91\">Committee for Ethics in Science and Higher Education<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nCommittee for Ethics in Science and Higher Education is a body appointed by the Croatian Parliament at the proposal of the Government. The Committee is concerned with promotion of ethical principles and values in science and higher education, in business relations and in relations to the public, and in the application of current technologies as well as in the protection of the environment. The Committee adopts the Code of Ethics and works in sessions in which the members express their opinions and attitudes on ethical adequacy or inadequacy in the considered cases in the form of recommendations, suggestions or remarks.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/tijela-agencije\/savjet-za-financiranje-znanstvene-djelatnosti\/\">Science and Higher Education Funding Council<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nPursuant to the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (OG 123\/03, 198\/03, 105\/04, 174\/04, 2\/07-OUSRH, 46\/07, 45\/09, 63\/11, 94\/13, 139\/13, 101\/14 and 60\/15), the Science and Higher Education Funding Council is an expert body of the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development. <br>Based on the Council\u2019s proposal, the National Council works out the criteria for the allocation of budgetary funds for science and higher education. <br>The Council consists of fifteen members, three of them from scientific institutes, six members from universities, two members from polytechnics, two representatives of trade unions and two representatives appointed by the Minister.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the tasks of the Agency for Science and Higher Education is to administer and support the activities of strategic and expert bodies in the system of science and higher education.
