{"id":5937,"date":"2016-07-15T09:55:48","date_gmt":"2016-07-15T07:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azvo.borealis.biz\/newsa\/ashe-launches-re-accreditation-of-doctoral-studies\/"},"modified":"2023-11-03T07:56:31","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T06:56:31","slug":"ashe-launches-re-accreditation-of-doctoral-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/azvo.hr\/en\/2016\/07\/15\/ashe-launches-re-accreditation-of-doctoral-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"ASHE launches re-accreditation of doctoral studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nIn line with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azvo.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Plan-reakreditacije-DS-2016.pdf\">Re-accreditation Plan<\/a>, re-accreditation of postgraduate (doctoral) study programmes was launched in May 2016.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nThe main goal of the re-accreditation of doctoral study programmes is to ensure that higher education qualifications for the academic degree &#8220;doctor of science&#8221; reflect study programmes of high quality, which are internationally comparable and aligned with minimal legal conditions. Re-accreditation verifies compliance with the legal requirements and includes an external quality assessment carried out by internationally renowned experts, experienced in quality assurance at the doctoral level and recognized for their research excellence, as well as the issuance of recommendations for each programme.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nAll doctoral study programmes should be accredited in 2016 and 2017, and this year re-accreditation will be carried out in the fields of technical, biotechnical, natural, health and biomedical sciences.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nIn May and June 2016 expert panels visited the following higher education institutions:&nbsp;\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (Slavonski Brod)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Rijeka Faculty of Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Rijeka Faculty of Maritime Studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty of Civil Engineering, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Rijeka Faculty of Civil Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Architecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Geodesy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Split Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Graphic Arts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Zagreb Faculty of Forestry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty of Agriculture, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty of Food Technology, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"mb-10 text-base leading-normal\">\n  \nUniversity of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology.\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In line with the Re-accreditation Plan, re-accreditation of postgraduate (doctoral) study programmes was launched in May 2016.
