\n \nAccording the 2018 Activity Plan, the Agency for Science and Higher Education made visits during March and April 2018 that included visits to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb (22 and 23 March), Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb (27-28 March) and Algebra University of Applied Sciences (4 and 5 April). The visits were conducted
within the framework of the pilot external independent periodic reviews of the quality assurance system (auditing).
In the next phase of the procedure, the preparation and submission of the report from the expert panels will follow, then followed by a six-month follow-up phase during which higher education institutions will implement defined improvements based on the recommendations in the report. For higher education institutions, where the internal quality system is rated as developed, the Agency will award the certificate for a period of 5 years.
On the basis of the feedback collected from the members of the panels and the evaluation higher education institutions, the Agency will make an analysis on the completion of the audit and improve the process for the second cycle.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
