The re-accreditation of scientific institutes takes place every five years. The Agency conducts re-accreditation procedures in accordance with the annual plan for re-accreditation of scientific institutes adopted by the Agency at proposal by the Accreditation Council. The Agency may include a scientific institute ex officio in the annual re-accreditation plan, based on the proposal of the minister responsible for science and education, or at the request of a scientific institute. The procedure determines whether an institute meets the criteria for the operation of a scientific institute.
