The Agency for Science and Higher Education is celebrating its 5th anniversary by organizing a conference titled „How to Make Croatian Higher Education Competitive“ , on October 29th 2010 in Dubrovnik.
The goal of the conference is to discuss the approaching reaccreditation of higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia, provide an introduction to American and European trends in quality assurance in higher education and academic ranking. The speakers include Annette Craven, ACBSP President, Gregory O’Brien, former vice president of CHEA, umbrella organization of USA accreditation agencies, Ellen Hazelkorn from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Josep Grifoll from the Spanish agency AQU Catalunya and Gordana Kralik, President of the Croatian Rectors’ Conference, who will present the Croatian higher education.
The Minister of Science, Education and Sports, Radovan Fuchs, also confirmed his participation at the conference.
