President of ASHE Accreditation Council, Professor Vlasta Vizek-Vidović along with ASHE representatives participated at the 5th European Quality Assurance Forum held in Lyon, from 18 to 20 November 2010.
Forum on the topic of European dimension of quality assurance has been organized by the E4 Group (the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE), the European Students’ Union (ESU) and the European University Association (EUA).
ASHE also participated at the Forum Café, held on 19 November 2010, with its exhibition stand. This was a good chance to present ASHE activities. In about an hour, around 50 visitors were informed about new procedures and the changed role of ASHE after the implementation of legal changes in 2009. The visitors were also informed about a possibility to apply as members of expert boards in evaluation procedures, as well as the forthcoming CEEN Steering Committee meeting that will take place in Split. ASHE promotion materials were distributed, and materials from other participants were collected (EQAR, SPARQS, and the University of Rijeka, which conducted a large survey about the success of the Bologna reform in their institution)
