In the framework of the SKAZVO project, co-funded by the European Social Fund of the European Union, Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources, the representatives of ASHE participated in the study visit to Ireland during the period from 22 to 25 November of 2016.
Within the scope of the SKAZVO project – Improvement of quality assurance and enhancement systems in higher education, co-funded from the ESF Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources of the European Union, the representatives of the Agency for Science and Higher Education payed a visit to the Accreditation Organisation for the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) and the University of Ghent from 26 – 28 October 2016.
They visited University College Cork (UCC), the Dublin City University (DCU) and the Higher Education Authority (HEA), the statutory planning and policy development body for higher education and research in Ireland, where they had discussions on various topics, such as quality assurance, the enhancement of teaching in higher education, the delivery of postgraduate doctoral studies and their reform, and a model of programmatic funding with HEI representatives.
