The consortium partners within HRMinHEI project (Modernisation of Higher Education Institutions through enhancement of Human Resources Management function) gathered for the fourth transnational project meeting on 5th and 6th of June 2018 at Danube Krems University in Austria.
All project partners – Agency for Science and Higher Education, Algebra University of Applied Sciences, University of Rijeka, Faculty of Philosophy, Danube Krems University (Austria) and Tampere University (Finland) – discussed the HR processes that have been developed at their institutions as a result of previous research work on developments and best HR practices in European HEIs.
The partners also exchanged views and experiences from the multiplier events held in each country in order to familiarize and engage academic community and HR specialists with the Overview of recent European policy developments in regard to HRM in HEIs and organizational diagnostic survey results. The three multiplier events has also shown to be an excellent opportunity to encourage the use of subsequent project outputs such as Guidelines for developing HRM in HEIs and HRM benchmark tool which are of more practical value for the HEIs governance.
The main goal of the meeting was to reach agreement on the content and design of the benchmarking tool to evaluate performance of human resources systems at HEIs in European Higher Education Area (EHEA) which is going to be launched at the second multiplier event scheduled for November 2018 in all three countries.
The project has been granted extension form the National Agency for four months and is envisaged to end on 14 January 2019.
