As part of the cycle Careering 2019, a round table discussion with the employers’ representatives and a workshop on how to prepare an individual development plan for career advisers were organised on Monday, 14 October 2019 at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
At the round table, representatives of employers, Croatian Employers’ Association and Croatian Board of Employment discussed the employment of young people with higher education qualifications with a view to improve the connection between higher education and labour market in Croatia and in the neighbouring counties and to enhance career guidance of students at the University of Osijek.
In the second part of the event, doc. dr. sc. Ana Jakopec from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences held a practical workshop on how to prepare an individual development plan for career advisers.
Careering is a cycle of workshops organised by ASHE with the aim of strengthening the competencies of teachers and career advisers at higher education institutions so they could address professional challenges in the best possible manner.
Workshops as part of the Careering 2019 cycle are organized within SKAZVO project – Improvement of quality assurance and enhancement systems in higher education, carried out by ASHE and financed from the European Social Fund.
