The one-off evaluation assesses one or more areas of activity of a scientific institute. The Agency ex officio conducts the one-off evaluation on the basis of a decision of the Director of the Agency, a decision of the Accreditation Council, or a request of a scientific institute. When deciding whether to initiate a one-off evaluation procedure, the Director of the Agency considers petitions or other communications indicating the need to protect the public interest. The one-off evaluation procedure ends with the adoption of a one-off evaluation report, which can be the basis for initiating the procedure of re-accreditation.
