On February 6th, the Agency for Science and Higher Education organised the final conference of the project Competitive Croatian Higher Education for Better Employment, funded from the EU IPA funds and dealing with recognition of non-formal and informal learning. The conference presented the project outputs, including short promo-videos.
The project, coordinated by the Agency with the University of Split and University College Alegbra as partners, aimed to contribute to the further implementation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework.
The conference presented the project outputs, including the draft model of recognition of prior – informal and non-formal – learning in Croatia. In addition to the presentations by local experts, the participants were able to hear international experts, Margaret Cameron from Scotland and Eduard Staudecker from Austria.
Finally, short promotional videos were presented in order to acquaint the public with recognition opportunities, available at the Agency’s YouTube channel.
The same project featured a webinar held by Algebra’s Mislav Balković presenting the Guidelines for Recognition of Non-Formal and Informal Learning as well as methods of developing Qualification and Occupation Standards for Croatian Qualifications Framework.
